I was conceived in Pompano Beach, Florida, US, which is in the county above Miami at the top, down the street from the beach. My parents went up to Southwestern New York State while my mom was pregnant with me, to get their things. We lived in Davie, in the same county but more Southwest, when I was born. I was born in a hospital in Fort Lauderdale, the big city there, where my dad worked.
Until I was age 5 years old, we moved around that county in Florida. I think we lived in Davie, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Miramar, Pompano Beach, and Coral Springs.
We visited Key West, an island in Florida, when I was 1 and 2. People used to talk about the bridge that was taken down.
We used to visit my grandma and relatives in Southwestern New York State and some in Pennsylvania too.
I went to preschool, in Coral Springs, Florida. My little brother was born when I was age 4 1/2 years old. I used to win coloring contests a lot and wanted to be an artist young. I did gymnastics age 1 3/4 until 8 years old. I told my mom that's what I wanted when I was age 2 years old.
We moved to Jacksonville, a big city in Northeastern Florida and a great cultural hub and getaway. I went to a public school and got into Gifted. I wanted to play violin, but I was already in gymnastics and ballet and my dad and grandma didn't answer. My grandma brought it up.
We moved back down to the Southeastern Florida area but the county above the one we lived in before though at the border, Boca Raton. I did baton and was a leader and Twirler of the Year. I did choir.
We moved back to Northeastern Florida, all this for my dad's job at the bank, the Florida bank that used to exist named Barnett Bank. This time, we moved to the oldest continuing city in the US, Saint Augustine, below Jacksonville where we lived before. I was age 9, 10, and 11 years old. I went to the school of the oldest parish in the US and we went to church there. I was in choir and started piano at age 9.
We moved to the New Orleans area, across the bridge, to Slidell, in Louisiana, US. I was in choir, among other things. I did ballet once a week most of that time. I did cross country running in high school. I also became Junior Class Representative. There was an article about me doing the most activities in the school newspaper, by a friend.
I went to Loyola University New Orleans for college at 18, right out of high school. I did piano and organ and Vocal and Instrumental Music Education. I went to some other colleges during my life, too.
My family moved to Orlando after a hurricane, but we were supposed to split up.
My mom died from getting sick when not able to eat on medicine for 3 kinds of cancer. My dad is sick and might not be able to get better; his muscles won't regrow. He's worried he'll be in an ICU, I think, like my mom.
